Join us for a 1.5 hour workshop where we learn about the Indigenous art of bead work and create an identity flag-inspired necklace or bracelet! This is a free, introductory, beginner level workshop facilitated by Kida Luttrell and hosted by Calgary Outlink.

This event is a collaboration between our Colleqtive and Between Men community groups. The event is open to the following community members:
– Racialized 2SLGBTQ+ community members of any gender. This includes community members who are Black, Indigenous, and people of colour.
– Queer men of any racial identity, including cis men, trans men, transmasculine people, and anyone under the masculine identity umbrella who is gay, bi, pan, toric, queer, questioning, or are otherwise attracted to guys.
About The Workshop Facilitator:
Kida Luttrell (they/them) is a Cree multidisciplinary artist and beadworker living in Treaty 7 otôskwânihk, who explores the intersections of queerness, disability and their mixed race identity through their art.

A limited number of spots are available. Please register here
